A Specialized Filter Plate for Carrageenan and Agar Dehydration.

Food-grade filter plates have higher requirements for raw material selection, processing precision, high temperature, and high-pressure resistance than standard filter plates. XUDA Filtration first entered the Hydrocolloid industry in 2011, when the production capacity of Carrageenan and Agar in China was not as large as it is now. In response to the physical characteristics of condensed gel, we boldly attempted to design a special filter plate and obtained FDA approval. After more than 10 years of practical experience and continuous improvement, our current Hydrocolloid special filter plate not only solves the clogging problem when feeding the gel, but also helps drain the filtrate faster, produces a uniform thickness of the gel sheet, and improves production capacity to some extent.

This is a 1250x1250 corner feed filter plate with 20-bar feeding pressure and 30-bar squeezing pressure. It can be pressurized under a certain required pressure for over 5 hours. Our filter plates are currently in use at Hydrocolloid plants in China, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, and Tunisia with good performance and a 2-year service life.
